Donations and bequests

Every year the Nurse Maude Hospice provides hospice palliative care and support free of charge to patients and their families.

We can do this because of the generosity of the community who contribute to our hospice shops and Maudes on Trade Me, hold fundraising events on our behalf, provide sponsorship and grants and donate money through any of the following.

  • By credit card over the phone – Simply call 375 4200 and ask to speak to our Finance Department.
  • By Cheque. Mail your donation to:
    Nurse Maude
    PO Box 36126
    Christchurch 8146
Please make cheques payable to Nurse Maude and include your contact details if you wish to receive a receipt.
  • Internet Banking using Nurse Maude’s bank account number 02 0865 0057217 03. If you advise us of your donation and provide the reference details, we can provide a receipt.
  • Automatic Payments set up with your bank to provide ongoing regular payments. Print and complete the Automatic Payment form and return to your bank.
DONATE NOWA Legacy of Care

Every year Nurse Maude receives bequests from those who would like to continue supporting our work for generations to come.

These legacies of care are what enables us to help fund large capital projects such as the Nurse Maude Hospital, subsidise the care that our patients and their families receive in the Nurse Maude Hospice and advance the research, development and technology required to provide quality nursing care in the community.

To discuss  how your bequest can support some of the most vulnerable in our community contact Sue Bramwell on 375 4288 or email
